Our Team
Angie Garoufalidis
Angie has decades of experience working in public accounting, specializing in individual and business tax return preparation, accounting and financial report compilations for a diverse mix of corporations, trusts, partnerships, and sole proprietors. She works with clients on tax planning and optimization while actively partnering with them to identify tax strategies, planning opportunities, and compliance solutions. Angie has extensive experience in state, local and federal income tax planning and tax credit optimization. She assists with foreign tax issues and IRS correspondence as well as other business and personal tax matters. Angie works on startup businesses, new company formations and services existing companies with payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable. She has experience supporting a number of different business models across a variety of industries.
Prior to forming OmniTax LLC, Angie held senior management positions at global CPA firms specializing in tax and accounting practice, working with individuals, business owners, executives and entrepreneurs on tax and accounting solutions that promoted long-term success. Angie decided to form OmniTax LLC to offer clients the personalized support they deserve.
Angie holds a Bachelor's of Science dual degree in Accounting & Management from Kean University, Union, New Jersey.
George M. Garoufalidis
George has spent over a decade working alongside small, middle market businesses on a number of taxation, finance and accounting topics. He's worked for local boutique advisory firms as well as Wall Street investment banks. He has experience with evaluating rapidly growing, privately owned companies by examining financial history, management and stages of development to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
George has also advised clients through all phases of mergers, acquisitions, recapitalization, fairness opinions, valuations and merchant banking assignments. He has worked with various companies on analytical tasks such as forecasting, budgeting, planning, scenario analysis and financial projections to provide executives with suitable information required to establish company vision and financial strategy. George also has experience in the formation of a private investment funds, complex portfolio construction and risk management techniques developed through understanding detailed security analysis, industry trends, market sentiment and internals.
George holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida.
